Lagos Presidential Rally: South West Group Slams APC, Says Rally Doesn't Translate Into Votes

The Apex body of southwest sociocultural groups - Omoluabi Coalition Group has distanced itself from the All Progressives Congress, APC Presidential mega rally slated for Tuesday 21st February 2023 in Lagos.

The group slammed the APC for being insensitive to the plight of the people in these perilous times of woes and tribulations.

The Director-General (DG), Omoluabi Coalition, Tunji Balogun said the country witnessed several ill-treatments and total neglect by the APC-led Federal Government.

The Coalition consequently stated unequivocally, that that the APC had further impoverished more Nigerians and reduced the country from being the ‘Giant of Africa’ into a verifiable torture chamber.

“Ranging from widespread massive corruption to undemocratic posture, endangered policies and perennial inconsistency and enthronement of rule of force above rule of law, at the expense of Supreme Court orders by the President Muhammadu Buhari and CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele - both of whom are currently on a conspiracy perdition to nosediving the ship of the nation into bottomless pit of hell with ill-motivated anti-masses double jeopardy and aggravated doom of fuel Scarcity and Naira redesign receipts few weeks to election, predicated on tenure elongation through a premeditated self-interest artificial crises that will Usher in Interim National Government decoy, ” the Coalition said.

The group said they are not proud of the Presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who brought to Nigerians in 2015 the “evil-coated Change Mantra" led Federal Government which has turned to thorns of oppression and militarized intimidation in the flesh of citizens.

The DG, Omoluabi Coalition, Tunji Balogun while reacting to the APC mega rally said “we await to see if really this mass rally will translate to votes

“We shall meet at Polling Booths on Saturday, and you will see who is the real custodian of southwest votes.”
