CG Decorates Obi, Ibe Isichie, As Deputy Commander General, Nigerian Hunters Forest Security Services

The National Excutive Council and the Commander  General of Nigerian Hunters and  Forest Security Services (NHFSS)  Amb. ( Dr) Joshua Wole Osatimehim, has decorated Obi, Dr Ibegbunan Isichie (Agbogidi Agunecheibea) as the Deputy Commander General  (DCG) Community and Chieftaincy Bureau of the Federation.
Osatimehim decorated Obi Isichie and the two promoted officers which include, Agidi Jude from  Agbor Division decorated As Deputy Commander, (DC) of Delta State Command and Osikabor Samson, Officer in charge of Medicals  at the conference hall, of Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service Headquarters in Abuja.

The decoration ceremony was carried out amidst cheers from the families, friends and professional colleagues of the newly promoted Senior Officers and the DCG.
Speaking during the ceremony,   Osatimehim charged the Obi and the two newly promoted officers in Delta  to see their elevation as a call to duty and re-dedication to the service of the country.

He encouraged them  to continue to exhibit the core values of service, sacrifice, and selflessness in the discharge of their duties. He also commended their dedication and hard work, which has earned them these well-deserved promotions.

“He noted that the newly decorated officers have demonstrated exceptional commitment to maintaining law and order in their respective duty posts, and as such, the new ranks symbolise their added responsibilities and the trust placed in them to continue leading by example.

" In his charge to the officers, he lauded their diligence and commitment to duty, saying: “These promotions and decorations are in recognition of your exemplary service, competence, professionalism and dedication to duty. ‘‘A promotion to a higher rank is to encourage you to do more so that by the time you leave the service; you can look back and see that each step of the way, your services have been recognised.

‘‘So do not rest on your oars but rededicate yourselves to the service of the community and the country.”

He admonished the officers to be good ambassadors of the Nigerian Hunters as well as guard their ranks jealously by doing the right things.

“Now that you have been promoted to a higher rank, you have to be more careful as you discharge your duties. The higher you go, the more you will be watched by other officers and members of the public,” he said.

The newly-promoted and decorated Senior Hunters officers included:  Agidi Jude from  Agbor Division decorated As Deputy Commander of Delta State Command and Osikabor Samson, Officer in charge of Medicals decorated respectively.

According to the Commander, “You also have to exhibit higher levels of wisdom in your actions and decisions as you lead other personnel under you.”

He noted that their elevation to the new ranks only means that they have been elevated to higher responsibilities, adding: “Hence, you must exhibit higher wisdom in discharging your duties daily.”

He said: “I congratulate the senior officers on their promotions and the hard work they must have put in all these years.

Appreciating the Commander General, Obi Isichie commended the service of Nigerian Hunters  for their thorough and objective evaluation of the officers’ performances assuring of improved collaborative efforts in the to deepen excellence and uphold the (NHFSS) duty to serve and protect the people of Nigeria.”

The CG was assisted by his management team members to decorate the officers, while spouses, family members and friends of the officers were on hand to witness the event.
