Peter Obi At Chatham House, Told Supporters To Stay Calm

By Otobong Gabriel, Abuja

As Peter Obi spoke to the global audience at the Chatham house in London about his run for the Nigerian presidency and his motivation, he urged all the Obidients to remain calm and not to say anything.

Aisha Yesufu, a social-political activist, and a top supporter of Peter Obi, presidential flag-bearer of the Labour Party, on Monday asked fellow ‘Obidients’ to stay calm during the former Anambra State governor’s engagement at the Chatham House in London, United Kingdom (UK), alleging that some persons plan to distract Obi at today’s event.
“If you are a Mr Peter Obi supporter, please do not say anything when you are in the hall. Do not react to anything.
“If there are people who stand up and start shouting, or doing anything, do not say anything. Just stay calmly.
“That is the way you can be of best help to Mr Peter Obi, because if there is anybody who wants to cause a distraction, they would want to get a reaction from you, so that it would look like his supporters are this and that.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Obi accepted the invitation of the global policy institution to speak on ‘Nigeria’s 2023 Elections: A vision for policy change and institutional reforms.’
